Welcome to the Blog!
I am so excited to take you on this journey with me.
Here you will find inspiration, love and get to know me a little more.
Stay a while
I am not sure I have the words to write this blog to do this session justice, but I will try my best.
When Tracy reached out to me almost 10 months ago to capture their family, it was initially to get photos of them with their dogs who would not be around much longer.
I knew this session had to be fun!! We ran through the grass, played hide and seek, enjoyed shoulder rides and of course stinky farts from the pups…or was it just the dogs?? Haha!!
Thor had degenerative myelopathy which limited his mobility in his back legs. Just a few short weeks after our session they found out Loki had cancer. Both dogs crossed the rainbow bridge together and left a huge hole in their lives.
What makes this session even more bittersweet is shortly after I delivered this gallery, Tracy was diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoma, a cancer that attacks your immune system and your B-Cells. I watched as Tracy shared her story on facebook. She shared the raw and real. Going through chemo and radiation. She is a warrior and fought 9 long months battling this cancer. In April she was able to FINALLY ring the bell, cancer free!! What a blessing.
Of course we had to celebrate Tracy overcoming such a tough 9 months! When she reached out to me this time for another family session, it was an absolutely yes! She wanted to show off her fresh baby hair. It was probably the softest hair I have ever felt.
The Dunn family will forever hold a special place in my heart. From the moment I met Tracy, I knew our paths had crossed for a reason and we would become friends outside out being my clients.
Tracy, you are such a joy to be around and light up any room you are in. Plus you are one of the few people I know who rocks a bald head so elegantly! Its been an absolute pleasure getting to know you and your family! David and Keith, you are both saints for walking through this with Tracy. Seeing your marriage thrive and grow through this tough time, is truly admirable.
Cannot wait to have the Dunns in front of my lens again.
What beautiful pictures and such a tribute to Tracy ,David and Keith, they truly are an amazing young family. I am so proud and privileged to be Tracy’s grandmother. With so much Love and appreciation of you expertise as a photographer. Grandma R
Not every patient I have leaves quite the impression on me or touches my heart as much as Tracy and her family did. I’m glad I was able to be such a small part of her journey. Beautiful, fun pictures!
I am so happy for Tracy as she fought hard to rid that awful cancer of which I know about. She is strong and yet refined and such a pretty lady my love goes out to her. David was a pillar for her as he must have been crying inside but his strength and love kept him going. God was on your side.
Love you ❤️
